N.J.A.C. § 13:45D-1.1
Purpose
The rules in this chapter implement the
provisions of the Consumer Fraud Act, N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq. as amended by P.L.
2003, c.76 (N.J.S.A. 56:8- 119 et seq.) by providing procedures for the
regulation of telemarketers and establishing standards to facilitate enforcement
of the requirements of the Act. The rules establish the Division's no
telemarketing call list by recognizing the telephone numbers of New Jersey
customers on the National Do Not Call Registry established by the Federal Trade
Commission or any other successive telemarketing registry created by the Federal
government or any telemarketing registry established by the Division as the
Division's no telemarketing call list.
