§ 228.560. Public service announcement concerning registry.
1.
The Attorney General shall make information available to the public concerning the establishment and
maintenance of the registry, including, without limitation:
(a)
The procedures for requesting the inclusion or maintenance of a telephone number in the registry;
(b)
A statement indicating that a revised version of the list of telephone numbers in the registry will be
published at least once every 6 months;
(c)
A statement indicating that no information contained in the registry, other than the telephone numbers,
will be included on the list published pursuant to this section or otherwise disclosed to the public; and
(d)
A statement indicating that all telephone numbers and related information in the registry will be
deleted or otherwise purged from the registry every 3 years, except for any telephone number and related
information for which the Attorney General has received a new or renewed request for inclusion in the registry
within the 6 months before the potential deletion.
2.
A person who publishes telephone directories for distribution to the public in this state shall ensure that
each such telephone directory includes the information made available to the public by the Attorney General
pursuant to subsection 1.
