Overview: SmartBlock™ is a real time "Do Not Call" dial protection system for sales agents. SmartBlock™ is designed to protect your company, while increasing productivity and reducing compliance costs. SmartBlock™ blocks outbound DNC calls and expands your marketing universe by leveraging all available exemptions.

SmartBlock™ works in two ways, through a calling card solution or through a new, first of its kind browser based interface using QuickConnect. The system blocks calls to consumers on State, Federal, Wireless, Canadian and/or Corporate Do Not Call lists, and helps manage opt-in data associated with the complex Existing Business Relationship (EBR) rules. Plus any telemarketing agent can instantly block a newly requested Do Not Call number with the requesting party while still on the phone or web -- simply by pressing a preconfigured button on the telephone or through the click of a mouse. In addition, the SmartBlock™ solution can easily be integrated into an existing PBX for flexible and failsafe automated protection. System prompts have been developed in both English and Spanish.

  • QuickConnect: after scrubbing a number or list of numbers using the QuickScrub feature of your DNCScrub account you can now automatically dial any clean number with a simple click of your mouse. Additionally, clean numbers are listed with the allowable calling time and call window. Should a clean number fall out of the allowed calling time, it will be blocked. QuickConnect is the perfect addition to QuickScrub as it allows agents to spend more time making calls and less time worrying about complex DNC restrictions.
  • Calling Card: from any telephone, place a call into your dedicated calling card number, enter your PIN number and you are ready to begin your dial campaign. If the number you dial is clean it will ring through. If not, it will be blocked and you will be notified why it was blocked. Simple and easy to use, agents can now make calls from anywhere with the knowledge that their calls are compliant.

  • Numbers are sorted by clean versus blocked numbers. Blocked numbers are further sorted by the reason why they are blocked. Clean numbers can be clicked on to initiate dialing. A clicked number will ring the phone number (desk/cell phone) defined by the user. When answered, the outbound number will then automatically be dialed.
  • Clean numbers are sorted dynamically by time-zone. This allows the user to easily identify what numbers they should call first. The local time is listed for each number, and any clean number where the local time falls out of the allowed calling window will be blocked until the time-zone reenters the allowed calling time window.
  • SmartBlock™ automatically applies State calling restrictions for telemarketing holidays and adheres to all other Federal and State calling time restrictions. SmartBlock™ is available in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico or virtually anywhere compliance protection is required within in North America to manage the complex set of rules that govern outbound sales and/or follow up calls to consumers to eliminate compliance risk and to avoid the potential for millions of dollars in fines.
